Rowan provides analytical support on open space strategies and inclusive growth projects.
Rowan has a strong background in the management and programming of parks and open space. Prior to joining HR&A, Rowan worked at the Times Square Alliance, where she researched potential placemaking initiatives in the district’s privately-owned public spaces, and strategized marketing to promote Times Square’s events, businesses, and arts programs. She has also held internships at the Central Park Conservancy, the Waterfront Alliance, and volunteered as an information guide at Friends of the High Line.
Rowan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies with a specialization in Environmental Science and Sustainable Development from Barnard College.
